IAU 14th General Conference, Higher Education and the Global Agenda: Alternative Paths to the Future, San Juan, Puerto Rico (27-30 November 2012)

Organised in partnership with the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, the International Association of Universities’ 14th General Conference will examine the role of higher education and research in addressing the challenges on the ‘global agenda’.

During the three-day conference higher education leaders will consider the responsibilities of higher education institutions to contribute to meeting such objectives as the Millennium Development Goals; they will debate different funding models and how they steer the development of higher education; and they will question the ‘new internationalisation agenda’.
