Registrations are now open for the Sixth European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), ‘Quality and trust: at the heart of what we do’, which will take place from 17-19 November 2011 and will be hosted by the University of Antwerp and Artesis University College, Belgium.

The main purpose of the event is to foster a dialogue on quality assurance that bridges national boundaries and leads to a truly European discussion on QA in higher education. Through plenary and parallel sessions, the discussion will focus on the grassroots level of quality assurance in the context of the ongoing development of the European Higher Education Area. The 2011 Forum will aim to explore the purposes and essence of both internal and external QA, and how QA can be further developed to serve these purposes better.

Specifically, the forum will be of interest to rectors and vice-rectors responsible for QA, QA officers in higher education institutions, students, QA agency staff, and researchers working in higher education.

Visit the Forum website to find out more and to register. A call for papers is also open until 1 August 2011.
