Michael Gaebel
Michael Gaebel is in charge for Bologna issues and also for international strategy and cooperation.
Before joining the European University Association in March 2006, he was the European Director of the Programme Management Office of the ASEAN-EU University Network Programme, a joint initiative of the European Commission and the ASEAN University Network.
Previous assignments have been with the German Academic Exchange Service in Baku, Azerbaijan, and at the Institute of the German Oriental Society in Beirut, Lebanon. Michael graduated with a Masters in Middle Eastern Studies and German Literature and Linguistics from the Freie University Berlin, Germany.
