Ralf Drachenberg is a Project Officer in the Higher Education Policy Unit at the European University Association.
Prior to joining EUA, Ralf was a policy adviser for employers organisations in Brussels. He worked for the European Association of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (UEAPME) where he was responsible among other things for education & training policy and sat on various EU advisory committees. Ralf has done extensive work on the EC Directive on the recognition of professional qualifications, the European Qualifications framework (EQF), and the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET).
Ralf holds a PhD on the Open Method of Coordination in European Education & Training Policy from the University of Brunel, UK and a Master of Arts in European Integration from the University of Limerick, Ireland. He is also a Senior Associated Researcher at the Institute for European Studies.
