Universities’ Third Mission Conference: Indicators and Good Practices, Dublin, Ireland (2-3 February 2012)

The conference on “Universities’ Third Mission: Indicators and Good Practices” will take place in Dublin, Ireland from 2 to 3 February 2012.

It is the final conference of the E3M project - European Indicators and Ranking Methodology for University Third Mission. E3M, which is co-funded by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme, aims to generate an instrument to identify, measure and compare the third mission of universities.

The conference aims to:

  • raise awareness of third mission activities and provision in Europe
  • discuss the importance of measuring third mission activities
  • exchange good practices among third mission providers
  • present and discuss a green paper on third mission policy recommendations
  • disseminate the results of the E3M research project.
