The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) has issued a call for proposals for a study on “Gender and leadership in higher education.”
The purpose of the study is to better understand the involvement of women in research and university management. This topic is not explicitly covered by DAAD’s Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies (DIES) programme, which is implemented jointly with the German Rectors' Conference, and the study also aims to close this gap.
The study will produce data, aggregated facts, analyses, and conclusions on the subject of female representation in leadership positions in scientific institutions, which will be used to develop proposed measures within the DIES programme. It will serve as the basis for an international conference on the topic.
The deadline for the call is 15 December 2016. For more information, please click here.
