European Conference for Science Journalists, 26-30 June 2017, Copenhagen (Denmark)

17 May 2017

The Danish Science Journalists Association (Danske Videnskabsjournalister - DV), in collaboration with the European Union of Science Journalists Associations (EUSJA), is organising the largest and most prestigious annual science journalism event that has taken place in Europe.

The event will take place in Copenhagen from 26 to 30 June, where up to 800 science journalists will meet and discuss how science and knowledge are presented and communicated in the media around the world.

This is a unique opportunity to meet your peers, but it also represents an enormous responsibility to use this opportunity to change the understanding and impact of science journalism in a positive direction.

The venue will be shared between two of the most beautiful buildings in Copenhagen: DR Koncerthuset (Danish Broadcast Concert Hall) and the IT University of Copenhagen. They are both newly built architectural hotspots close to each other, and they offer unique opportunities as a setting for the conference, with possibilities for broadcasting live streaming and digital media.

Further details regarding the programme and the registration process are available online.
