Early-bird registration deadline approaching fast for the 1st European Learning & Teaching Forum

12 July 2017

Secure your early-bird fee by registering now for EUA 1st European Learning & Teaching Forum “Meeting Challenges Together”. The late registration fee will apply after 23 August. The event will take place at the University Pierre and Marie Curie (UPMC) in Paris, France on 28-29 September 2017.

The Forum is part of the EUA Learning & Teaching Initiative, through which EUA member universities have participated in four thematic peer groups earlier this year. The groups examined the link between the research and teaching missions of universities, discussed how to equip student with the knowledge, skills and competences for their professional lives and civic engagement, explored the impact of ever larger and more diverse student bodies, and considered prerequisites and incentives to foster institutional engagement in developing learning and teaching.

The 1st European Learning & Teaching Forum will build on the outcomes of the groups’ work, providing higher education actors with the opportunity to debate current developments in learning and teaching in European universities. The discussions at the Forum will also feed into EUA’s work on the topic and key messages for the upcoming policy statement.

You can already follow exchanges on Twitter though #EUALearnTeach and join the LinkedIn group ‘Learning & Teaching in European Higher Education’.

Attendance to the event is limited so please make sure to register on time to guarantee your seat.
