31 January 2018

EUA and its Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) invite you to the doctoral education event “The transformation of doctoral education: why it matters for Europe. We invite you to join us for a keynote speech by Robert-Jan Smits, Director-General of the DG for Research and Innovation, and a panel discussion on the transformation of doctoral education into a central hub where Europe’s ambitions for higher education and research come together and are put into practice. This includes a focus on policy fields such as ethics and research integrity, Open Science, internationalisation and skills development. It will also be an opportunity to see the first results of an extensive EUA study on doctoral education in Europe.
