European Quality Assurance Forum 2018 Call for Contributions

22 March 2018

The 13th edition of the European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) will take place in Vienna, Austria on 15-17 November 2018, hosted by the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) and the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria). The Programme Committee of EQAF 2018 invites you to help shape this year’s Forum by submitting a paper or organising a workshop. The deadline to submit contributions is 24 July 2018.

EQAF is organised annually by ENQA, ESU, EUA and EURASHE and regularly attracts over 400 participants from the higher education quality assurance community in Europe and beyond. This year’s forum will focus on the theme of ‘Broadening the scope of Quality Assurance’ and will explore how institutions and quality assurance agencies can build quality assurance systems that encompass a broad range of activities, including learning and teaching, research, governance and administration, and service to society.

During the Forum, paper sessions and workshops will provide space for more in-depth discussions about research, policy initiatives and practical case examples related to the Forum theme and more generally about current developments in quality assurance. The Forum organisers have therefore opened a call for contributions from quality assurance practitioners in higher education institutions, as well as from agencies, students, and researchers in the field.

The paper and workshop sessions are an excellent opportunity for you to share experiences and gain fresh perspectives from colleagues throughout Europe. Selected contributions will also receive one reduced fee for attending the Forum. For more information about the call, please consult the EQAF website.

Further information about the Forum, including the programme and registration information, will become available in the early summer. For updates, follow @EQAF on Twitter.
