Register for EUA’s Annual Conference: Investing Today in Talent for Tomorrow (Aarhus, Denmark, 13-15 April 2011)

EUA is pleased to announce that it will celebrate its 10th Anniversary at its next Annual Conference to be held at Aarhus University in Denmark from 13-15 April 2011.

The anniversary provides the opportunity to take stock of what EUA has achieved so far and will launch discussions of future priorities and the most important milestones for the next decade.

The theme of the conference is talent development – a topic of high relevance for the future competitiveness of Europe. Universities face the challenge of making the European area for higher education and research an attractive destination for the best researchers and students in the world, without, however, compromising the provision of mass education. With the Bologna Process, a united Europe has already demonstrated that the European model is extremely competitive and durable. Now it is time to identify ways of using this position to attract and develop the bright minds of tomorrow.

• Exchange ideas on how to strengthen collaboration across borders on the management of quality and content in the third Bologna cycle
• Learn about state-of-the-art approaches to attracting and retaining talent internationally

EUA members will also have the opportunity to vote in the election of four new Board Members and for the next EUA President-elect who will officially take over from the current President, Professor Jean-Marc Rapp, in March 2012.
