Taxis at the Copernicus Airport
Taxis are available in front of the main hall. The taxi trip to the city centre takes about 20 minutes; the fare is approximately 50zl (12 €).
Most of the hotels are located in the city centre and are within walking distance from the conference venue. Bus transportation will only be provided for the hotels which are farther from the venue (as indicated below) and for the lunch and guided tour on Friday and Saturday.
- Shuttle buses provided by the conference on arrival
The conference organisers will set up welcome desks at the Copernicus International Airport on 23 and 24 October. Shuttle buses will run between the Airport and the hotels at regular intervals. The welcome desk will provide information on shuttle buses, tickets for local transportation as well as general information. On Saturday, 27 October, and Sunday, 28 October, shuttle buses will take participants from the conference venue or from the hotels to the Railway Station and the Airport.
- Shuttle buses during the conference
The conference organisers will provide shuttle buses to transport participants and speakers from their hotels and back, as well as to the social events. At the hotels located close to the conference venue, students will collect participants in the lobby and accompany them to the conference venues.
Wroclaw has an extensive public transport system, consisting of bus and tram routes. As the main buildings of the Wroclaw University of Technology, including the conference venue, are located next to Plac Grunwaldzki, an important transport node in the city, it is quite easy to get here using public transport from the city centre (tram routes 0, 2, 4, 10, 16 and bus routes C, D, E, 145, 146, 139, 149). Bus route 406 connects city centre with the Strachowice International Airport.
