The event should be of interest to institutional leaders (rectors, vice rectors and heads of administration), higher education researchers and analysts as well as representatives of other bodies involved in educational policy.

EUA aims to ensure participation of all members who desire to attend EUA events. However, each event has a limited capacity and to guarantee a certain balance between country and institution representations, EUA may have to restrict attendance to one representative per individual member and two for collective members. Therefore, EUA reserves the right to refuse registrations if there are too many participants from any one country or from one institution. Priority will be given to those who register early. We will not be able to accept additional registrations once the event is full even if this occurs before the registration deadline. The early registration deadline is 8 February 2010

Fees are received in order to cover the cost of the organisation. 

The participants’ fee (members and non-members) includes attendance at the event, all documentation and Cocktail and Buffet dinner. The companions’ fee includes Cocktail and Buffet Dinner. Registrations will not be processed without payment. This has to be paid upon registration either by bank transfer or credit card. The delegate assumes full responsibility for paying all bank charges associated with the payment.
There are a limited number of places at the festive evening event in the Imperial Palace for EUA delegates.
The participants and companions’ fees do not cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Confirmation

The registration will be confirmed by an email. Please wait for your confirmation before making any further arrangements. However, please note that your registration will be completed and considered final only when your payment has been received by EUA.
Deadline for registration is 1 March 2010.

Payment

Payment is due upon reception of your Registration Confirmation email and must be made prior to the event by bank transfer or credit card. Cash payments are only possible in exceptional cases at a fee of € 400 on the spot, unless otherwise agreed with the EUA Secretariat.  The delegate assumes full responsibility for paying all bank charges associated with the payment.

Please bring the payment received confirmation with you to the event for presentation at the registration desk.

Cancellation of the registration fee

Cancellations must be sent in writing to EUA by email: Spring-Conference@remove-this.eua.be or by fax +32-2-230-57-51.  If a cancellation is received by 8 February 2010, the registration fee minus an administration charge of 30% will be refunded after the event. If a cancellation is received after 8 February 2010 and/or the participant fails to attend, the entire registration fee must be paid. Please note that the administrative charge will apply whether or not payment is received at the time of registration. Substitutes will be accepted at any time provided that EUA is informed of the change.

Liability

Neither EUA nor University of Vienna will be liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or objects, regardless of the cause. Participants and companions attend the conference and all related events at their own risk and responsibility.
