The conference should be of interest to institutional leaders (Rectors, vice rectors, heads of administration, students), as well as other organisations involved in educational policy, social partners, employers and senior government officials.
EUA aims to ensure participation of all members who so desire to attend EUA events. However, each event has a limited capacity and to guarantee a certain balance between country and institution representations, EUA may have to restrict attendance to one representative per individual member and two for collective members. Therefore EUA reserves the right to refuse registrations if there are too many participants from any one country or from one institution. Priority will be given to those who register early. The early registration deadline is 11 of February 2009.

Fees are received by the host university in order to cover for the cost of the organization.
The participants’ fee (members and non-members) includes attendance at the conference, all documentation, coffee breaks and lunches at the conference, Welcome Dinner on Thursday and Gala Dinner on Friday.
The companions’ fee includes tourist information folder, participation at the Welcome Dinner on Thursday and Gala Dinner on Friday, one guided walking tour and one excursion.
Registrations will not be processed without payment. This has to be paid upon registration either by bank transfer or credit card. Cash payments are only acceptable in exceptional cases and agreed in advance with the EUA Secretariat.
The participants and companions’ fees do not cover travel and accommodation expenses or post-conference programmes. If you have any question about payments do not hesitate to contact the local team in Prague in charge of the payments at address eua2009@remove-this.guarant.cz.
Deadline for registration is 3rd of March 2009.
The registration will be confirmed by an email. However, please note that your registration will be completed and considered final when your payment will be received by the host university.
Registered participants that have been confirmed and have not paid by the end of the registration deadline will be considered as cancelled and will be taken off the list of participants for the conference. Substitutes will be accepted at any time provided that the local team in Prague is informed of the change.
Conference registrations cancelled on or before February 11, 2009 will be entitled to a 50% refund. For cancellations received after February 11, 2009 or if the participant fails to attend, no refund will be made. Substitutes will be accepted at any time provided that conference service office is informed of the change. Cancellations or changes must be sent in writing to the email address eua2009@remove-this.guarant.cz. or by fax: +420 284 001 448.
Neither EUA or Charles University in Prague will be liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or objects, regardless of the cause. Participants and companions attend the conference and all related events at their own risk and responsibility.
