The publication entitled ‘Rankings and the Reshaping of Higher Education. The Battle for World-Class Excellence’, written by Professor Ellen Hazelkorn, Director of Research and Enterprise at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland, will be published by Palgrave MacMillan in March 2011.

The book is a study of rankings from a global perspective based on international surveys and interviews with universities and stakeholders. Ellen Hazelkorn draws together international experience to chronicle how rankings are helping reshape higher education in the age of globalisation.

The content could be of interest to policy makers, institutional leaders, managers, advisors, and scholars.
