EC Consultation on the 7th Framework Programme (FP7)

As part of the Interim Evaluation of the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7), the European Commission has launched a public consultation. The FP7 interim evaluation is a major exercise to examine progress and provide recommendations both to help with the implementation of FP7 and to shape ideas for the next Framework Programme.

The exercise will be based on a range of different sources of evidence including statistics, studies and consultations with interested groups and individuals. EUA was already invited at the end of last month to present its views on behalf of its membership to the Expert Group carrying out the interim evaluation.

A survey has been prepared to gain a full range of views from individuals and institutions involved as users and stakeholders in the implementation of FP7.

The deadline for completing the survey is 27 August 2010.
