The event should be of interest to institutional leaders (rectors, vice rectors and heads of administration), higher education researchers and analysts as well as representatives of other bodies involved in educational policy.
EUA aims to ensure participation of all members who desire to attend EUA events. However, each event has a limited capacity and to guarantee a certain balance between country and institution representations, EUA may have to restrict attendance to one representative per individual member and two for collective members. Therefore, EUA reserves the right to refuse registrations if there are too many participants from any one country or from one institution. Priority will be given to those who register early. We will not be able to accept additional registrations once the event is full even if this occurs before the registration deadline. The early registration deadline is 15 September 2010.
EUA Council members and Secretaries General attending the pre-conference statutory meetings are kindly requested to register by using the button included in their personalised invitation.

Fees are received by the host university in order to cover the cost of the organisation.
The participants’ fee (members and non-members) includes attendance at the conference, all documentation, coffee breaks and lunches at the conference, Welcome reception and Concert on Thursday and Dinner on Friday.
The companions’ fee includes tourist information folder, participation at the Welcome reception and Concert on Thursday and Dinner on Friday, and one half-day guided walking tour.
The participants and companions’ fees do not cover travel and accommodation expenses or post-conference programmes.
Confirmation
The registration will be confirmed by an email. Please wait for your confirmation before making any further arrangements. However, please note that your registration will be completed and considered final only when your payment has been received by the host university. Deadline for registration is 7 October 2010.
Payment
Registrations will not be processed without payment. The registration fees have to be paid upon confirmation and prior to the event either by bank transfer or credit card. Credit Cards Payments can only be accepted if paying by Master Card or Visa. Cash payments are only possible in exceptional cases and agreed previous to the event with the host university. The delegate assumes full responsibility for paying all bank charges associated with the payment.

Please bring the payment received confirmation with you to the event for presentation at the registration desk.
Cancellation of the registration fee
Conference registrations cancelled on or before September 15, 2010 will be entitled to a 50% refund. For cancellations received after September 15, 2010 or if the participant fails to attend, no refund will be made. Substitutes will be accepted at any time provided that the conference service office is informed of the change. Cancellations or changes must be sent in writing to the email address eua2010@unipa.it
Liability
Neither EUA nor University of Palermo will be liable for any losses, accidents or damage to persons or objects, regardless of the cause. Participants and companions attend the conference and all related events at their own risk and responsibility.
